Developing emotional intelligence

We know what emotional intelligence is but don’t know how to develop it to increase emotional wellbeing.  There's lots of information online but I really like Dr Travis Bradberry's 18 Signs You Have High Emotional Intelligence:

By identifying which aspects of our emotional intelligence we would to develop, we can work out what the barriers are and then start practicing.
