grief coaching

What does a grief coach do?

As a grief coach I help you find your own unique way through the pain of grief, whether due to death, divorce, redundancy or any other difficult situation. You can overcome the pain by identifying the emotional skills you have and developing new skills, your own emotional toolkit.

It’s painful dealing with grief alone so I will walk beside you, supporting you, sharing my journey when it may help, and finding emotional tools that resonate with you.

To truly change how we think and feel we need to practice using emotional tools regularly, otherwise we learn the lessons intellectually, but without engaging at an emotional level.  Using the tools every time we get stuck in a painful emotion enables us to develop healthier thinking habits and feel emotionally lighter.

Inner Child work, Thought Changes Records and the Grief Recovery Method, along with positive affirmations and grounding exercises are tools that I used, and still use, to make lifelong changes but it’s hard work because it’s painful.

While you work through difficult emotions I will support you and hold a safe space for you to work in.

Contact me if this resonates with you.
